How many persons will be registered for the Challenge?
Up to four persons will be placed together in each team.
Can my group register?
No. Only one registration per student is permitted. Once students have registered for both the Challenge and the Conference, they will be placed in mixed university groups and meet to brainstorm their pitches for competition day.
Will I be asked to promote the Development Challenge?
Team members must be available to participate in a photo shoot (on location for Jamaica/via Zoom for students outside Jamaica). Photos will be used in promos tailored to introduce the teams and to promote the Challenge.
How will teams be assessed?
A Judging panel of esteemed experts is mobilized every year. They are guided by Judging criteria which has been compiled by a multi disciplinary steering committee. DOWNLOAD JUDING CRITERIA.
How does our Team construct our Pitch?:
We have fixed up guidelines and a model for you. DOWNLOAD GUIDLINES FOR CONSTRUCTING YOUR PITCH.
How do we present our team pitch?
Decide as a group which member or members will present. There is no limit to the number of presenters as long as they are registered members of the group and the Conference. You may use any accessible multi media platforms as an aid.
