Equipping youth with tools to be great in their chosen field
Come have a transformational experience with other young people determined to make a difference
Many young people are doing great things for their country – quietly, powerfully, without fanfare. Their stories must be heard and shared to inspire hope and action. Since 2020, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Multi Country office in Jamaica has joined youth and institutional partners to unearth their stories, perspectives and lessons learnt. These stories can empower other young people deeply interested in, or at the start of their own journey as social activists, NGO workers, volunteers and social entrepreneurs. But young people face unique challenges in taking their dream to the next level. Ready Set Great aims to provide tips, tools and resources; help you take better care of yourselves so you can show up for those you serve; help you help others actualize their greatness; facilitate your views, challenges and requests for urgent action by our governments, communities, and young people.
From Virtual to in-person experience
ONE DAY
Ready Set Great will be convened in person for the first time ever, One-Day Only.

Youth may not be as equipped with the finances, know-how and networks to level up their social activism. Ready Set Great 2023 aims to help. Working with leaders who know the ins and outs of social activism, volunteerism, not-for-profits and corporate social responsibility, we aim to help youth with a heart to serve.
Navigate Challenges
